Re: Red 1998 SMB 4x4

Ha! I saw that earlier too and was going to post it but figured if I couldn't talk the wife into an upgrade that buckkiller would be all over it anyway!

Looks like a great rig for sure. Let us know what you find out!

Re: Red 1998 SMB 4x4

For all that have PM me...I was thinking of flipping this thing but if one of you would like to purchase it before hand I'm good with that. Planning to head over on Sunday, my only concern thus far is the home brewed 4x4 conversion, to all considering it even if you bought it and decided it wasn't what you expected for 20k it should be an easy 5-7k flip on ebay!

No, 1998 was the 1st year of the PSD.

Re: Red 1998 SMB 4x4

Actually '95 was the first year of the PSD - (1994.5 in the pickups to be specific).

Re: Red 1998 SMB 4x4

Since this doesn't (yet) belong to anyone here, I'd say for this price range, I'd rather go with the SMB in the thread here.

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12551

A different rig to be sure (cargo vs passenger) but a nice rig. The 6.0 does have some advantages in terms of power and transmission, and it looks like the EGR has been addressed.
