Seen on Ebay: crashed 2012 PW Traverse
Being sold as a "rebuildable," but I see it more as a really nice donor van. 2012 Pleasure-Way Traverse with pop-top, buy it now price of $14k

Wow, really happy to see that the propane tank did so well, I worry about mine which is in the same spot. This looks like an updated GTRV, same top and layout.................

Pleasure-Way Traverse and GTRV are very similar, almost identical. They share the old Westfalia interior layout ("50" layout for SMB). By most accounts, the Pleasure-Way has better build quality than GTRV and SMB.
Assuming all the interior and top is not wrecked, this might be a cost-effective way to build out a camper on a stock Ford cargo van.

Re: Seen on Ebay: crashed 2012 PW Traverse
Pretty sure it was layed over on its side after being hit, judging by the direction of the gouges. Body definitely is not square anymore (look at the pic of the rear doors).

They even did under hood! I mean, if shiny engine bits get somebody to buy an otherwise totaled van, good for them I guess?

Re: Seen on Ebay: crashed 2012 PW Traverse
Yes, they do all of their builds on the E150 and I would say the statement above about Pleasureway's quality being better than GTRV and SMB may not be accurate. It's really a very basic build out with cheap flooring and components. I think they are usually overpriced for what they are. The penthouse would only be able to sleep children also.
This thing definitely rolled either completely over or landed on it's side after being broadsided. Everything including the top looks destroyed. That would not be a fun project.

I agree. It looks like not much is even salvageable. Goop on the front seats even. And it's a 4.6 E150. The only thing I would like is the propane tank. I can't believe it took that hit. I want one that tough. Who knows, I may already have one but I don't want to find out.
