SMB pop-top for Dodge $500 Seattle

Just saw on CL, it's not mine:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/rvs/5335718202.html

"This sale is for the top only van is not included !!!!!!!!!

I have a Sportsmobile penthouse top off a mid length full size Dodge B van

When installed and popped up it has convertible top material with windows and screens.

The rim created around the top cut out forms a lip for a bed so you can steep up stairs. (bed not included)

It's like putting your tent on the roof of you van and when not in use you can stand up in the van.

Then when you pull the top down it stores the bed ,side curtains, and lowers the top height .

Includes roof rails, u-tubs,springs and a top cut out blue print .

Looks like it's just strapped to the Chevy van for transport.

Re: SMB pop-top for Dodge $500 Seattle

Hi,

No affiliation.

I have a complete post with plenty of photos showing how to do this swap for anyone interested in buying this penthouse top. Others have also. The original van I pulled my top from is still sitting here so I can help with cutout measurements on the new van too.

Shame the dam thing is so far away. So many vans, so few tops...

Regards,

Gavin

Sure can. I still have the roof section I removed from it to install the pop top. You'll have to subtract from my length as my top is the longer one for the extended body. Did you get the side rails, rear piece, and all the bolts? Where are you living? My install is buried in this post: http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...ject-7927.html Send me a PM if you like (private message)

Regards,

Gavin
