You can't sell next year's model in August if you don't build it in May.

None of the rest sounds odd. And I wouldn't personally worry about the theft- it doesn't seem like the usual joy-ride, chopshop theft that would cause problems. It was either parked for a long time or used in a manner that didn't bring it to law enforcement attention. A series of auctions and not being registered by dealers, who may have used it as a personal vehicle would keep the registrations few and far between.

I don't know, seems OK to me.

It's been extremely difficult to communicate with the dealer who apparently has it on consignment. Also it has been hard communicating with the "owner" and the wouldn't give me the vin. Too many red flags for me. I moved on

And it's a 6.0 with unknown history.

Well, I don't know how Ford does it but Chrysler starts building vehicles in August for the next year model. My last Jeep was a 2007 built in Aug. 2006.
