Sportsmobile GMC Savanna 3500 Quigley 4X4 - $39500

Not mine, just passing along a CL add.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv...904715079.html

2004 Sportsmobile GMC Savanna with Fly shift 4X4 Quigley Conversion. Quigley's process involves hundreds of hours of engineering and development time and reflects the same concern for safety and quality. (http://www.quigley4x4.com/Products/WhyBuyaQuigley.aspx)
V8 6.0 Vortec Engine, Pop-top rooftop bed, sink, microwave, Refrigerator, and Storaway porta potty with Power inverter power and water hook ups. Aluminus rear bumper (http://www.aluminess.com ) with Spare tire and extra storage compartment attached. 93000 Miles.

DO not buy a VW Eurovan Camper if you are in the market for Sportsmobile 4X4 AWD Sports van. I personally had negative experience with those German engines/ Transmissions. This Sportsmobile does not have a cooker. Based on my past experience, having a cooker inside of your RV or Van stinks up your sleeping area. It is best to have a portable butane cooker and cook outside of your vehicle. Serious buyers only.

A couple of interesting sales tactics in that ad, not to mention it's a Quigley with "Fly shift".

I hope Quigley spent more than "hundreds" of hours engineering their conversion setup...

The ad says the van doesn't have a "cooker", but what do you guys think is the appliance thats next to the sink? It looks like a stove top to me.

(update)

I'm out of the race on this one.

Seller never responded to any questions after a week of waiting.

I'll have to take another look at the Chevy FSBO on the SMB website now I guess....no popup roof tho!

So, otherwise, still looking for a Chevy pop up....
