They use the same Dana 50 Twin-Traction Beam that we use in our 4X4 Long Travel conversions, the only difference being the use of CV Joints instead of 1350 U-joints. I would like to locate a set of those CV axles.

I've driven our conversions in FWD (no rear drive shaft installed) at over 80 mph and long distances with no problems.

Actually not too bad. Most class A motorhomes are quite a bit slower. Really that might not be any slower than a full SMB 4x4 with a stock 7.3L.
