Re: WOW 2002 Ford 7.3 smb

First post here, so Hello everyone!

Last night I contacted the gentleman selling this van, he was very quick to reply with more details and pictures. Seems like a good van although I'm not convinced of the floor plan. It's a galley style EB-29 which I'm not familiar with. It has a shower, sits 7 and sleeps 4 :-)

Im not sure if its a great deal or just a decent price? I'm currently trying to decide between a SMB or building my own out of an ambulance platform which cost roughly $6000 with the 7.3 although usually in the 180,000 miles range. A lot could be done with the $18,000 price difference...

Any inputs?

Cheers
Mr. D

I just noticed your avatar, did you just buy your van? I was looking at it as I'm looking to either convert or find a 4x4 7.3L but that 8" lift was a bit too much for me...

Cheers

Yup I have had it for about 3 weeks!! Ya I may bring it down about 2-3 inches, not sure I figured I would spend money on my PH top first.

Thanks
Buck

You can debate all day if it's a great deal or decent price. In the end it all comes down to you being happy with the van.
I think it's a decent price, depends if you like the layout or not. It's a lot easier to wait for the right layout than try and modify a different one to fit your needs.
