I almost called about the one in Portland. I am concerned about the milage. What are your thoughts on the Dodge transmissions and motors. I have heard that the transmissions need to be replaced at 120,000; and that the motors perhaps a short time later. I'm not sure what to do. a local friend who knows cars suggested I not buy anything with over 99,000 miles.
Long-term powertrain reliability was not one of their strong-points. 120k on the trans is actually doing pretty good. I've seen the same trans in the pickups go out as early as 80k.
