Re: 1993 Ford 5.8L Manifold Leak - Gasket Question

this was the bolt kit I used to replace the rusted bolts I pulled out. The extension studs on the longer bolts are longer than the OE counterparts, but it didn't impact the install at all.

I bought the gasket from these guys too.

Re: 1993 Ford 5.8L Manifold Leak - Gasket Question

I had an exhaust leak on my 93 Sportsmobile and finally had the manifold replaced (with the gasket). It was a pain to remove a broken bolt and I had to go to 4 shops before I found someone brave enough to work on it. It looks like if it's hard, people don't want to touch it. I tried to remove it myself by spraying it for a few days, but that didn't do much good. Even bought good extraction tools...

All is well than ends well...exhaust leak gone.
