I like these as they'll fit any E-Series past the 2003 years: https://www.autometer.com/2-1-16-tri...ram-03-05.html
Not nearly as convenient as the pillar mounts but do make for a nice installation.

Installed Diamond Eye 4” turbo back exhaust and now I see 15-17 lbs of boost. I guess the factory system was too restrictive. Pulls the passes better and cruises at 70mph with boost (previously only boosted under WOT or really hard throttle pressure).

1der - well sometimes better late than never...
I just completed a trip from Pray, MT to Bosque Del Apache, NM. On the passes, I drove 70-75 mph and was pulling a steady 10 lbs of boost with 1000-1200 degree EGTs. I typically see EGTs in 900's under 5 lbs of boost just cruising the flats.
Also noted that 75-80 mph yielded 12.5 mpg while 65-70 mph delivered 14 mpg.
I was a little nervous driving a 6" lifted van down the interstate at 75-80 mph, but the U-Joint setup worked far better than expected. It felt like driving any non-lifted heav duty van or truck.

Here is where I mounted mine. Keeps all the wiring short and easy. Plus I didn't want to look through the gauge pod, wither it was on the A pillar or overhead.

2002 7.3 EB
The OP said their van was a 2003 so I thought my pic was relevant.

Its absolutely relevant here---I was just curious what year is all.
I've often thought of adding gauges or more convenience outlets in that dashboard area which is why your photo caught my attention.
I'm tending towards right of the radio opening, perhaps just below the air vent--it would be great for passengers with 12 VDC needs on that side of the cabin.

JWA, you can probably see the one cig lighter in that pic.
What you can't see is the 2nd one mounted exactly like you mentioned. It is used more then the one in the pic and a highly recommended mod.

Sorry to derail this thread but Lilnuts time permitting could you zoom out a bit on your gauges showing more of the dash as you've added the other power ports?
I'd thought to drill through the removable dash trim panel and didn't think of mounting power points through the actual dash itself---very crafty!
TIA
