Haha! There exists a video of my wife screaming in the background when she heard it for the first time. I was too nervous to be excited.

That's because a Cummins sounds so much more soothing than a ding dang powerstroke!

MG that is impressive, you seem like a man up for a challenge and the satisfaction as well. Don't worry about all those experts- the world is full of them but we really need more people with your tenacity.

That's only because you can hear a Cummins from so much further away.

Oh no you didnt!!!

Have you been around the late model Cummins? No way it is louder than a 7.3 or 6.0.

You're just trying to start some trouble 'round here. :-)

I forgot to mention a couple things in my commentary (for instance the UJOR built Sterling 10.5) but here's a video of the chassis. Body is coming down this week.

MG that's truly masterful. Plus I got tons of light bulb moments from seeing the undercarriage tour to correspond with forum posts I have read- thanks for the tour!

With the body down on the frame, lots of final details getting done.

pulled the original harness out, relocated the ABS module, bent and flared some new brake lines (and carefully rerouted some factory lines), installed hydroboost and master cylinder, relocated A/C lines and made up new lines for the engine, etc...

I also made up the hydroboost lines and designed a bracket for the power steering reservoir (getting laser cut now)...

Had to open up the front sheetmetal to accommodate the radiator and intercooler.

The funny thing is, I still have to cut more relief in the core support to clear the intercooler inlet/outlet. It's damn big... The radiator is not tiny either. I'm not concerned about getting everything to fit though, it will all work out. I don't even think I'll have to move the hood latch. The part it mounts too will be modified like crazy but I think I can leave the latch in the same spot.
