7.3 what spare parts for overlanding needed?

As i will go overlanding in a view month (first Africa, so no way to get parts ecept order and wait for weeks...) i am thinking about what spare parts i need to take with me.
I have no space for big/ heavy things and i can say that I am able to repair everything
Mainly i am thinking about taking some sensors and ECU with me. Just only that once the engine/tranny needs essential to stay running.
What recomantations do you guys have?

Thanks for giving me input

OEM Bosch frame rail fuel pump and Racor PS120-2 diesel Strainer/Pre-Filter plumbed in before it.

And I would replace your fuel tank before leaving, because it will likely delaminate in the African heat if it hasn't started already.

Racor is ready to go in and i have a 46gal transfer flow tank in so i hope they have not the delimination problem? I also have no idea if it has a pre filter/strainer in the tank. But as soon i will built in a second tank in i have to do demantle it and than i will check it

I also have had a PCM go bad, it didn't leave me stranded, but if I was in Namibia, I would have been there longer then I would have liked.

Yes, CPS, fuel pump is a good idea, fuel filters, I'd even bring a vacuum pump.

Re: 7.3 what spare parts for overlanding needed?

The vacuum pump usually does not come with a pulley, so you must carry "pulley puller-installer" to make a field repair. I believe Harbor Freight has them.
