AMSOIL Bypass Filter - How to

Hi guys, few months back picked this up from a member on here
(free). It's time for the oil change and a good opportunity to put it in. I have the below two pieces, can someone help me on how these pieces connect to current factory filter setup? Is anything missing ?

I have a 2007 6.0 van.
