Auxiliary Fuel Tank Malfunction

All,

I have a 1996 7.3L Diesel Sportsmobile with a 2 fuel tank manual electrical switch system. When switched the auxiliary tank the fuel gage is not working. I need to check the sending unit with an ohm meter to see if the sender is bad. Does anyone know where the Harness Connector coming from the auxiliary tank matches up with the Fuel Transfer Valve?

Thanks!

I have a transflow two tank system
the gage went bad

my repair shop, Rick's Trailer Supply (ask for Tom) in San Clemente
they had to dig to get a answer from TF

Transflow knew about problem on my particular model
they had no replacement due to age

Fix:
sent gage to TF, they repaired
works great now

Re: Auxiliary Fuel Tank Malfunction

I talked with TF, they can build a replacement sending unit.

What is the size of your Aux tank? Do you know a part number for the tank?

I tested mine with an OHM meter and its reading 140 OHMS which is consistent with that gauge reading of 7/8 full, but it is stuck there. Was this similar to your Problem?
