I purchased and installed mine thinking they were reliable. I rather not find myself stranded many miles from civilization with three kids. These units may fail but there is no known denominator. What percentages of units fail? Using a brushless motor is more reliable and may be a solution.

The ADII is both easy to access and easy to fix. Just purchase an extra motor or consider carrying an extra unit. They do not take long to change out. But being stranded really sucks.

More important, I feel, is having a fuel pressure gauge installed so when this happens you do not do as I did and take out the injectors.

What gauge did you use? Do you know if the scan gauge will monitor it?

Edge insight with expansion cable and pressure sensor. Where best to place is to be debated. I am installing one with my overhaul, ideally near my distal injectors. I will post when completed.
