Change Ford 5R110 Tow/Haul to Overdrive On/Off ?

Hey Guys I had 5 star tuning program my transmission to stay in fourth gear when tow haul is engaged. Works fantastic, I love it. I use it like OD on and off. If I see a large hill ahead I can push the button and gear down to fourth, roll up the hill, then push the button and I'm back in fifth gear. My tranny still shifts stock when cruise control is engaged. I also had Mike keep my torque converter locked up most all the time, no more half shifts.

So you changed the OD on/off switch to a tow haul switch?

No my unit has a tow haul switch that now when engaged stays in 4th gear with the torque converter locked up most of the time. Fifth gear or OD when Tow Haul is engaged seems silly to me. If I'm rolling down an easy grade towing or loaded I'll leave the unit out of Tow Haul to maximize fuel economy. If the unit is working uphill or downhill I'll leave it in Tow Haul and utilize 1-4th gear.
