Thanks ShuttlePilot, I don't think a photo is necessary. The length seems to be the same. Is there any wording at the crosshatch area on yours?
As I said, mine just says Cold below the crosshatch.

Hi Scatter, I'm not sure I gave you the correct info. Here are some photos which are more accurate.

Starting at where the handle rests on the metal tube. It looks like our handles are different.


It now looks like 58" to middle of the Hot crosshatch. There is a cold crosshatch on the other side of the plastic part of the dipstick which is lower than the Hot range.


Hope this helps. I wouldn't want you to have a trans issue based on bad info.

That helps a lot Eric, thanks. Your's looks the same as my original one. Want to trade?!?! Probably not....
Mine is not a SS wire like yours anymore, just a 3/16" wide SS strap and it's riveted together in the middle to make it long enough. I'll take a look in junk yards and maybe come up with a good one.

Until then, I'll just keep my level at 58" while hot and idling in Park.
