Cummins "Repower" crate engines

Cummins announced a new line of DIY CARB compliant I-4 diesel engines at SEMA.

The first model is designed for Jeep weight projects. It includes full electronics and support to help even novices get them running.

I believe this is the engine program that Cummins was using online questionnaires to help with market research. I filled it in and indicated that MG ought to manage the whole thing for them as he knew more about Cummins swaps than even they did. MG's recent video backs that up.

I am curious to see what subsequent models they release. First units come out Q1 2017.

The most likely next in line engine is the 5.0L V8. I'd be surprised if they did the 6.7L.
