Dodge Shock replacements

Looking to replace the shocks on my '95 Dodge SMB. To all the Dodge SMB owners out there. Have you replaced yours? What did you go with? I am not looking for anything extreme just want to settle the ride a little bit.

I don't know what it has for front shocks, so I am open to suggestions there because it bounces like a damn Po-Go stick just leaving my driveway.

The PO used the SMB for towing so it has a few towing related add-ons(brake controller, transmission cooler, etc..) Therefore, the rear end has a lot goin on. Sooooo, leaf springs, air bags, and what look like Monroe Max-Air shocks(both shocks have a small plastic tube that leads to a T fitting on the rear bumper with a schrader valve to fill the shocks with air.

Do air shocks wear out or do you just fill them back up with air? From my limited understanding, it appears that the air part of the shocks are simply meant to help maintain ride height while towing(which i thought the air bags were for???)

Anyway let me know what you guys have out there.

Thanks!

Re: Dodge Shock replacements

Bilsteins......you'll have to look up or cross reference with your current shock for the part numbers, way better than anything else out there short of custom valved fox shocks.
