Looks like it was used to move some snow that's a snow plow mount sitting below the front bumper. But I still like it, wish they would post more pictures of all sides and interior. probably just cargo but I'd still like to see it.

IIRC reman'd V10's should be available aplenty either from Ford or another respectable outfit like Jasper Engines Inc. Both carry a warranty, mileage or longevity TBD, cost should run just under $3K with your core. This would be a service part so supply shouldn't be an issue.
For me installing a used engine or transmission unless its life is well known would not be my first choice. The labor and cost to swap one back out along with the loss of vehicle use or downtime isn't appealing to me one bit.
I will admit money isn't an issue for me which makes this mindset a bit easier perhaps.

If it were a drop in replacement for my 5.4 I'd jump on this in a second, but alas, it's not that simple. So, why did you pull it, are putting in a Cummins?

You could throw this in! It comes with everything you need to swap, wiring harness, computer, motor mounts, etc. Your transmission would be the only question.
My parents Bigfoot is getting a powerstroke swap.

Looks like they have had a snowplow mounted on this. Either that or some other funky implement... GOOD LUCK

It's tempting, and your so close, but alas Mrs A/T has me on a budget if I want to stay retired. Want to trade for a Perkins 6354-4 marine diesel engine? I bought it as a spare for my boat, but came to realize I will never need it cuz they never break down and will run 10K hours no problem.
