Exhaust or Jake brake?

Hello all. My first post on the forum. My SMB is underway in Fresno, due mid April.

Has anyone fitted an exhaust brake on their rig? I have one on my Dodge Ram 3500 and I just love it while traveling through the mountains with or without my trailer.

Re: Exhaust or Jake brake?

My short answer is 'Not while it is under warranty'.

Its been discussed:

The tow haul feature would be nice but might be a special order during the van order.

Re: Exhaust or Jake brake?

2010 6.0L diesel. I did see the other thread. Am looking to hear from someone who may have had one installed.

Thanks,

The TopKick Duramax I drive sometimes has this. It works great. I don't see any reason it would be different on the E-series. If you have a good Ford dealer, I don't think you'll run into any warranty issues.
