Re: Filing claims against Ford regarding 03-07 6.0 diesel en
I would recommend to anyone with a 6.0L PSD to read up on the Lemon Law requirements specific to their state and to keep good maintenance records. Here is a California guideline http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general/lemon.php. There are many attorneys specializing in submitting these claims outside of a class action suit and the norm is no cost to the consumer for their evaluation, filing or even if the claim is rejected. Also the fact that you took a $32K van and added say $50K of conversion to it is not relevant. Your damage claim starts with the conversion cost, licensing, loan interest and sales taxes. It is your right to require your vehicle to perform as expressly warranted by the manufacture and if it doesn't you have this avenue to pursue.
