Between waiting for parts, working a lot of extra shifts, rainy days with no garage, and a nasty flu bug, I've somehow only within the past few days gotten everything put back together.

New plugs, injectors, PCV and hose, radiator, thermostat, degas cap, and an oil change - and somehow the problem has disappeared. I don't really feel the satisfaction of surgically sleuthing out the issue, but I'm not complaining.

Thank you for all the help here; I would have surely torn into the intake were I not dissuaded here. I really appreciate it.

Back to the build! 1der's swivel seat bases are due to arrive tomorrow and I'm guessing that that project will be a welcome respite ...
