Hi everybody
stuck at a remote worksite, everybody else has left for the day and my fuel pump is not running. Only tool I have is a leatherman. Does anybody know which fuse and or relay powers the fuel pump and a good donor spot to take a noncritical fuse or relay from just to get home. Hopefully it's not the pump itself and I can get home tonight.
Thanks for any help
Brian
Re: Help me-stuck at remote worksite w no fuel pump
Hi I know this has nothing to do with the original post but is there a site like that for GM vans? I have been searching and searching for my Express 2500 van's service manual of some sorts...

Re: Help me-stuck at remote worksite w no fuel pump
If it is the actual fuel pump, smack the tank with a large mallet while somebody else cranks.
If the fuel pump is not getting power, and it is a ford, you can borrow both the fuse and relay from the "Trailer B+ circuit." These give power to the trailer hot-wire on vans with the heavy duty tow package.

Got it. Fuel pump was dead. Luckily a coworker forgot
something and came back. Gave me a ride home(1.5 hr each way). Thinking spare pump is a good idea from here on out. Thanks for the help
