Re: Leaking Transferflow tank

All done. No pictures (sorry, not allowed in the shop!)

It took them 8+ hours (7AM-4PM, I assume they had lunch), took 3 hours just to get the old tank out. They said it was pretty much gone. Then they had trouble getting the sender out of the old tank (bolts rusted). Really glad I didn't attempt this myself.

I can't say enough good things about Transferflow standing behind their product, and how nice and friendly and professional the people are there. They stuck to their quote, even though it took a lot longer than expected. They even put some of my POR-15 on the rusty frame rail bits I couldn't get to with the tank in place.

They did confirm they will NOT make 46 gal tanks for new customers. They only did this because I had an old tank that was shot. I paid around $1200 installed (I already had bought the fitting kit), + a tank of gas.

Really nice to have a full tank, and not worry about every bump and rock in the road.
