Mag-Hytec transmission pan upgrade

Had to do a transmission service on my van with 95000 miles on original fluid.
Since I had the pan off I decided to upgrade to a Mag-Hytec aluminum pans that is 8 quart's over stock. That should help with cooling.
Original pan

It probably won't help much with the cooling, just add a bigger sump for heat. But it sure looks nice! I added the same pan to my 5R110.

Did you do the pan for the 6.4 psd with the bigger internal filter upgrade?

It's for my 2012 gaser.
Never had a cooling problem. Put it in when I did a trany service since I had dropped the pan.

Ya, nice upgrade! Gassers also have the 5R110 so I only mentioned it in case anyone else was looking to upgrade their pan. The internal filter offers much better filtration. Cheap upgrade. The pan, not so much, but it sure looks sweet!

Thanks JoeH
Taking it on it's test run to your neck of the woods. Pulling my trailer to Prescott to help a friend move on Wednesday. Might make it to Flagstaff to see my son if he doesn't come down. That should be a good run to see how it does.

The grades on I17 are a proving ground for cooling systems of all vehicles
