Run an app like Torque Pro for Android via a bluetooth dongle and you can keep up with your fan rpm and see if it correlates to the sound.

I'm not sure what the noise is after watching the video but our fans do come on at odd times and are loud as hell.

It sounds like a similar sound in my 2006 EB350 diesel. Here's my link to a video. Btw, I'm still not sure where this sound is coming from.

You're right, I think that's the same sound. I'm taking mine in to Jefferson State Diesel next week for some bullet proofing and I'm going to have them investigate then. I'll report back if they find anything.
