Most of the damaged injectors I've seen also came in with a ruptured HPOP sump screen, and I have little doubt all the debris dumping into the injectors did damage. Of course, also seen plenty with fuel pressure problems and FICM problems too. But I'm still not convinced an aftermarket fuel delivery system is necessary on the E-series. If the stock fuel system were chronically starving the last of the injectors, then pickups would be constantly requiring the same 2 or 3 injectors, and I haven't seen that. It's typically randomly distributed, or a full bank or them.
