Regardless what's posted on almost any forum there is an opposing or contradictory POV---the case of ATF being one at the moment. In the end we have to individually do what we think is best, however it turns out is on us.

I don't doubt BTS's opinion is valid at least for them---they do seem to enjoy a huge loyal following. Assuming they have and honor any warranties based upon their recommendations there's no harm following their schedules.

However I'm sure even they wouldn't disagree the full fluid exchange is at least as beneficial as their 5 qts & filter pan drop at 35K mile intervals. I'm hard pressed to see how that practice would yield better results than the full flush at 50K miles.

For myself who pays for my own vehicle maintenance I'll follow Mark Kovolski's transmission advice just about any day of the week!
