Herb - I have one of those CD's from Ford which is supposed to be the service manual. Last I checked, it has LOTS of info on most anything for the E series, but when I looked up maintenance and servicing, it was pretty much a rewrite of what's in the owners manual. Gives recommended fluid types, capacities, says to check all the same stuff that's in the owners manual, etc. It, of course, doesn't cover the four wheel drive other then what's in the F series.
What I'd do is hit all the zerks on the front end and drive train and then lube the moving parts on the shift linkage. If it moves, lube it - sparingly. I'm sure you know the drill.
Sorry about not finding specific lube points. Ford doesn't seem to have a diagram of the undercarriage with all lube points like it used to.
Anyone else out there come up with anything?
Also, anyone know what type of grease SMB uses? I don't want to mix different types....
