Nah it won't explode. Give it a shot and see what it does. It's not going to immediately burst into flames or anything... Usually it'll give SOME indication if it's going to do something bad. Just shut it down if you smell hot electronics.

DerPo: Just flip the wires.....nothing bad will happen.....fans don't have electronics....


It amazes me that this fan has probably been wired backwards since the van was converted.......is that the likely case?
