Re: Adding a Furnace for camping above 9,000ft. Suggestions?

the exhaust/air inlet are physically mounted on the underside of the propex, so have to go down. i suppose the unit could be mounted on a pedistal and then routed out the sides. but the tubes have to be certain/equal lengths to work properly.

ive never had a problem with tubes running under the van in all my VW stewert warner gas heater experience. they tuck up against a frame rail so crushing would be hard, put a slight slope in them like a gutter for drainage. should check to make sure they are clear of ice though is a must-which could also happen on a side mounted suburban flue from tire spray--but not as much for sure

i will be installing mine shortly--waiting for my fridge to show so i can plan my cabinet build
