Thanks for the tip! I just ordered a couple more 20 liters in blue. I’ve got two already, they can’t be killed.

I was about to place an order but it was $30 for shipping? Maybe Amazon has ruined me but that seems crazy. Trying to buy two 10L's and it goes from $80 - $110 with shipping. Seems rather steep for two water containers...

Regarding one of my original posts in this thread, here are the updated webpages for the LCI version of the Scepter water cans. I have both Scepter and LCI water jugs, and as far as I'm concerned, they are the same (I suspect LCI is the US Government's 'second source' for the jugs). Available in Desert Tan and O.D.

Came back from a trip to Sportsman's Warehouse, and it turns out they have Scepter Military Water Cans (MWC) in any color you want, provided of course that color is Desert Sand. They had both the 5 gallon and 2.5 gallon, which is the first brick and mortar store that I've seen with them on the shelf. Prices weren't very good, but nice to know I can grab another one if I want.

$63.99 for the 5 gallon
$49.99 for the 2.5 gallon

I just bought the LCI version here in the 5 gallon size for $36 shipped to my door. Personally, I don't see any difference in quality or construction from the Scepter brand. I read that they are both made to US military specs.

I've been using a slightly older version of this: https://www.equipt1.com/collections/pioneer-plastics

The valve on the bottom makes it super easy to use, although I did opt for a brass valve instead of plastic. Has held up for...5 years now? Maybe longer?
