I just drilled a hole and used the hardware included. heres a better pic. it comes with everything needed.

Gotcha. I thought you were attaching it to the threaded pouring hole on the filler cap.

Not original on my part, but I got a little tired of filling my Scepter MWC from my water tank, and then tipping the MWC to dispense water. I tried a spout with a valve, but that tended to drip. This pump does not pressurize the can, it essentially pulls up the water with each stroke.

More & more I appreciate gadgets & mods which are functional and alleviate the dependence of electric or battery power. I like this one Herb!
But, there is also something to be said for the "pressurized" mod for these scepters - had the opportunity to see the one 86Scotty put together a while back and it worked fabulously...impressive "spray" ability, and a simple install. I ended up going the WaterPORT route, based on what I saw from his.
