Cab Privacy Window Covers

Looking for window coverings for windshield & 2 cab side windows to be applied from inside for privacy & insulation from heat & cold. I see SMB offers the following on their "Options" price sheet: "WINDSHIELD & CAB WINDOWS SCREEN To help keep sun's heat out. Daytime privacy ____ $148."

Can't find a picture there or here. Anyone care to show & tell? Will they fit the bill I am looking for, or do you know of any other, better after-market solutions? Many thanks for any help.

killer quality, lots of features

Cons:
(for me anyway)
another piece of wet dirty gear to stow

Wilson's Solution:
Interior curtains
Snap fit around driver door to windshield to passenger door

Reflectix cut to fit, $25.

Or get someone to sew you a curtain and get some screw in snaps/bases.

$148 seems a bit redonkulus for a sunshade.

I think I posted this elsewhere, but I cut my own from foil-backed jute, edges reinforced with aluminum tape. They pop in nicely.

I don't like ones where you have to go outside to put them in.

I have these for all of my windows, including the rear porthole. Some velcro on the rear ones. Total cost for all windows was about 20 bucks and an hour of my time.

Bill, Fanchers don't work for me - as I said I want window covers mounted from within. I like the idea of "Wilsons" Snap-in Solution, but scanned all 22 pages of your great gallery & found nary a picture. Can you post one please?

Jage, I will look at Reflectix at Lowe's this week - I didn't think it was stiff enough to stand up inside the windshield, but will check it out. Bill, again, where is there a picture of SMB's cool looking $148 shades? Wait, I'll email them for a pic & post it here if they respond.

Nomadcat, the side windows look GREAT! But where the heck can I find foil-backed jute? Also, do you have a better pic of the windshield cover - looks like it's folding in & not perfectly blocking light & vision like the side ones. More detail please.

Reflectix is fairly stiff when you first get it, but it does take the visors to hold it in place on the windsheild. All the other windows are cut to fit. If you don't get a tall enough roll you can pick up some aluminum tape with the reflectix (usually same section) to extend your windshield cover.

And the reflectix. It can be positioned tighter, but I usually don't bother unless I want a blackout.
