I'm finishing up my cabinets, finally. and need to get some latches soon. I need some really solid latches that will hold up to some heavy things moving around while offroad. really want to avoid any free play in the latch. some I was playing with at home depot had quite a bit. Ideally it would keep tension on the door when closed rather than just latch shut.
I think i'll use these for the smaller doors/cabinets that'll only see small items.
There is a good reason Sportsmobile has used these for years and years. I've never had one come open, period. They are made in different strengths, too.
My SMB had the round Southco latches, and after my son was old enough to be mobile and curious, I replaced some of them with similar, locking Southco latches to keep him out of certain cabinets (like then one the held my inverter). Good quality latches.

I had something similar these on my Tiger. Mine were double action, you had to push the button to make the knob pop out. Then you turned the knob to retract the latch plate. The double action prevented the doors from ever popping open. Not sure that these are double action like that, but very high ratings on feedback.
