Cabinet trim cap plugs and washers?

I need some. I see them listed in packs of 20 from the SMB store but I can't tell if they come with the washers. Can one of you engineering types tell me what the raised edge washers are that these plugs snap on to? Mine are rough and I need extra anyway.

I have searched all over Google Images and McMaster Carr to no avail.

Cap Plugs - Sportsmobile Store

Thanks

I think I got some from Fastenal if I remember correctly? This is the smaller size, right - not the penthouse top size?

Send a message via Yahoo to JWA
You can find this type trim fastener at the site Clipsandfasteners.com----great site if you've got time to explore it a bit.

They are the same size on my van, for the cabinets and PH top. I'll check out both fellas. Thanks!

Eric: I can confirm that they do not come with the raised edge metal washers.....I bought a pack from Jonathan when I was at SMB west last year....and had to do a little sweet talking to get him to throw in a few washers...like 5-6......not sure why they are so stingey with the washers....

Is this what you are after?

WSHR1 - CRL Stainless Steel Button Washer

If so, I went through this when updating my Aluminess swing arm. They are CR Laurence washers WSHR1. Unfortunately they have 7/16" diameter holes, not 1/4" like what Sportsmobile uses. Sportsmobile has them custom ordered with 1/4" holes in batches of 1000 from CRL.

Hope this helps.

Thanks all, fw500a that is precisely what I need (ed). I had a call in to the SMB store before I posted this inquiry here and they since got back to me. I also was able to talk them in to sending me 20 washers (at .25 apiece) with the 20 caps I ordered. Not a horrible price but not a good one, and Boywonder I wonder why they are so reluctant to sell the washers too. He really didn't want to but did. The funny thing is that he wanted to tell me how mine 'shouldn't be rusty because they're stainless'. Well, they are.

Thanks everyone, problem solved.

Those washers are not stainless.......I have loads of rusty ones as well......they are probably zinc plated.......

Can the 1" snap-on plastic covers be sourced online other than from Sportsmobile? I tried searching a few different things and couldn't find anything similar.
