CO2 Detector Expired

Its time to replace my CCI Controls CO2 Mod. # 3400 CO2 detector. I'm under the impression that they are no longer available.
Have any of you found a replacement that fits the same hole?

Thanks,

Bob in Tucson where it is 79 today.

Wow folks, looks like I really stumped everyone on this one.
No one has had to replace their CO2 detector yet?

Re: CO2 Detector Expired

I replaced mine a year or two ago and posted up the info on where to get it. It was the same unit. Try searching.

Re: CO2 Detector Expired

Mine died yesterday as well, and it's way out of date. I did some searching on the web and found some similar but not the same one. I'll do a search here now I suppose.

Steve,
I tried the search function before I posted the question. No luck.

Re: CO2 Detector Expired

Try Safe-T- Alert , they have some that look close to the size of the CCI.

Re: CO2 Detector Expired

Thanks Scalf,
I tried them before I posted and I may have to go with what they have. The face of their unit is about 1" higher and the back side which would be inserted in the wall is about .5" higher.
I'm just trying to avoid making the existing whole any larger, which really means trying to avoid doing any work.

Re: CO2 Detector Expired

I couldn't find any the exact same size but did find one slightly larger (Safe-T-Alert) and enlarged the hole slightly so that it would fit. That worked...

Hey Mbachani,
Here's the link to the posting Steve referred to:
http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/vie...p=17694#p17694

I think your original search might have failed if you were looking for CO2 detectors. It's a CO (Carbon Monoxide) detector.

Re: CO2 Detector Expired

Hello WVVan,
You're absolutely right. But if I had a CO2 detector I'd know if my Power Tank had sprung a leak.
