Re: Cold weather heating, your preferred choice?

So today I finally have the Espar D4 working.
I had to by a mity-vac hand vacuum pump tho...
The reason why is because the fuel pump wasn't strong enough to bleed out the air from the lines.
Omg, having temperature controlled heat and dry heat too is amazing!
My fears of it being loud / noisy was silly, this is super quite and hardly noticeable.

... not much to see, sorry.

Mity-vac pumps are really useful for all kinds of things...bleeding brakes, etc.......

I thought I'd share this really crappy video I made with you guys, it shows.. not much but it'll give you an idea of the sounds that the Espar makes.

Its is.
The area from the rear end to bumper is clear and unobstructed. This location also helps to hide the sound.
Which is better for boondocking

Question about installing one of these heaters...

If I were to buy a gasoline powered heater, would I be able to install it in one of those aluminum boxes that mount where the original spare tire goes? Maybe flush mount the heater vent to the lid that would be on the van floor?

Just trying to think of ideas on how to keep as much floor space in the van for utility since I use it to haul stuff.

I don't see why not, my original plan was to build a box and mounted to the frame rail but decided to take the easy route and mounted it inside.
