Re: Cupholders and doghouse

I like the '09+ version the best. It's lower profile, but still has all the functionality of the full center console (which I have laying around, if anyone wants it).

Use the alternative driver side-entry articulating portal with internal un-latching ability. Or take Yoga.

It has to be really crappy out (storming, muddy, active volcano) for me to not exit and just walk around the van.

Walk outside? Haven't you seen Race With The Devil? It's an instructional movie for RV owners that teaches the lesson that when you're camping with Loretta Swift you may have to suddenly jump into the drivers seat to escape the local murderous Satan cult.
Won't have to time to walk outside after they light that encircling ring of fire.

How big is the full console you have? I have the 97 as shown in the e-bay link on the other post but looking for the full size unit with more storage. Any chance you can post or email a pic if you still have it available?

Thanks!

Re: Cupholders and doghouse

Just came across this post and wondered if anyone was familiar with grafting one of those cupholders onto an older (1996) doghouse. On mine, the physical doghouse itself is different and doesn't have the 3posts/latch on it. And the physical shape is different.
I want something there and not sure what else what else I can put there?

Any ideas or suggestions, I'm all ears.
At this point I'm thinkin of trying to fit whats in the picture on the left to mine, but I know that will take a bit of shaping and creativity...

The doghouse on yours is relatively flat, yes? In Sliver350s photo you can see the posts are just pretty much washers on the ends of screws (in fact I fixed a broken one with just that). I think you could reproduce that pretty easy.

Otherwise something aftermarket that's square and meant to go on a console or hump could be mounted. I'd wander around the automotive section of a few stores and see what might work.
