Are the driver and passenger seats in E350 vans the same once they are off the base? I know the base is different from passenger and driver
I am curious to find out if I can take passenger seats, take off the base and mount it on the driver side base, of course the armest will be moved and the seat belt buckle, which begs the question can they be? Are the seat frame the same where the armrest can do either side?
On our 2002 the seatbelt anchor is riveted to the seat, not the base. I imagine other years are similar. Not sure they can be switched easily.

Current van: 2002 Ford E350 extended body camper with Colorado Camper Van pop top and Agile Offroad 4WD conversion.
Passenger and Driver Seat Rails on the bottom of the seat have the same dimensions front back and side to side. Floor mounting locations for the seat Base/Pedestals are different. I do not know about the interchangeability of the frames. The Pretensioners / Belt Latch assy on the 1997 and up vans are bolt on - BUT note the pretensioners /latches vary from year to year and MUST match the buckle. The latches are not a changeable part of the pretensioner assy, so make sure you are matching the pretensioner p/n exactly, if replacing.
