Fridge not working

New to me van first time turning it on sounded like a fly was stuck in the van trying to get out. First trip this weekend ran great for two days then it died. Went on a 4 hour Mountain bike ride and it was on and working when we got back. Even though my wife turned it off. Had to unplug it to shut it off. I figure its toast but, maybe a small part can fix it??? Norcold DE-351

Is it possible for you to pull it out and hook it up to the house to test for a day or two? Some models have a fan on top for ventilation that may account for the fly noise if something was in there or it hadn't been started in a while. There are threads on the forum on how to pull out some models, fairly easy.

I had to pull it out to unplug it. I'm wondering if something replaceable is worn out. I know it's a crapshoot but a new one costs $$$.
