It should fit if you are careful with the placement of the Roto Pax Mounting bracket .

You mean vertically, or not sticking out too far from the box?

You could also fit one on the RHS, right, if you didn't care about covering up the tail lights too much?

(edit) I measured exactly 4 1/2" space between the back of the box and the door - the 3 gal is 4 1/2" thick....... (the 2 gal is 3" thick.)

If you placed the mounting bracket so the handle wound up in the license plate indentation, it would maybe work, but I'd still be worried about the Rotopax itself rubbing on the paint.....
