Looking for seats

I'm looking for some Captain's chairs for my 2006 Express. I've searched around online a bit and found some stuff but it all seemed overpriced. Anyone have any good links or experience with good quality seats?

Also anyone know where I can find a swivel for the passenger chair? I had a link once but lost it and having a hard time finding it again!

Thanks

Re: Looking for seats

Discountvantruck.com has the swivel bases for all vans but their shipping is horribly slow. Order now if you want it in a month or more. Not many places have them though. The Sportsmobile Store may have them as well, probably for just a little more. I know they have the Ford ones but not sure about Chevy.

As for seats, just hit all the salvage yards you pass. You might find what you want out of a recently wrecked conversion van. I have always searched and searched for these and they are always high and hard to find. Discountvantruck.com also has OEM take out seats (from conversion companies) on occasion but they may be just the plain ones. I think their stock changes a lot on those. Also, some have found pretty great seats out of minivans or other vehicles. You just have to adapt the bases, which is really pretty easy on vans, usually just a square box/bolt pattern to work with and a flat base.

Good luck!

Re: Looking for seats

Wow, the prices are actually a bit higher than I've found.

I found a site called shop4seats.com and you can order alot of those same chairs for starting prices that are cheaper, however you can add seat heaters, massagers, power adjustable, etc... at which point the price starts to jump considerably.
Just FYI for anyone looking for some other seat choices.

Anyone use/have chairs with massagers? Are they worth the money or not?

Re: Looking for seats

I have two gray Sprinter seats that are new, but need cleaning. They have armrests, but you'd have to get bases for them. Free to anyone who wants to pick them up in Idaho, or pay shipping. PM me if you're interested.
