Mid van curtaining?
I, too have the separator curtain directly behind the front seats. It provides plenty of privacy without the definite "I'm sleeping in the van" look.
This photo is from the rear, facing forward. It's not a good picture but you can clearly see the curtain in this photo:

We use this curtain daily. It's always closed when we park so nobody can see what's inside and more often than not, we do not use the curtain that snaps on over the front windshield.
The curtain is sewn onto small plastic tabs that slide onto a small track screwed into the roof line. It should be a simple retrofit.
I'll get better pictures of it as soon as I can.
