Modifying a 110 fridge to run efficiently on an inverter

I found this article interesting. He has used a few relays to make a dorm type fridge turn the inverter in his van off and on so that the inverter runs only when needed. Making the fridge run on about 30ah over 24 hours. I am considering this in my build. Any thoughts?

Take a look at this thread, http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...tor-15187.html.

Len reduced the power draw by adding insulation on the outside of the fridge.

Thanks that is a great link! After looking through it a combination of the two could make an amazing setup, the one he has is pretty impressive on its own.
