Was camping over the weekend and my pump in the evening started cycling on n off at increasing frequency. I looked at the pump and it was leaking where this assembly attaches to the lower housing. it leaks only on the outlet side. Is it a bad seal or better to replace the pump altogether?

Outlet side sounds more like you need to tighten the fitting. Can you tell exactly where it's leaking?

Also I don't think that means the pump is bad.

Unfortunately it is where the seam is created when you attach that unit I pictured above to the rest of the unit. The outflow connection is sealed fine.
