Gaining some traction!

http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...x-18120-4.html

A while back I talked about bringing some traction boards to market… Well we actually brought two types to market. The ones pictured in the thread above (page 4 post #32), which are great for small trucks and wheeling.

But I didn’t think they would be that great for heavy SMB type vans and we were working on a heavy duty set as well. So we went back to the drawing board and came up with a second design.

I feel these are great for sports mobiles, & over landing owners who might need the extra support with the added weight of some of the vehicles on the market. These are comparable to maxtrax & treads.

The first traction boards came in at a failure rating of 10,000 lbs the new traction boards come in at over 20,000 lbs. Of course real world circumstances can always lead to failure. That being said I have seen the top shelf recovery tracks fail, but I feel we’ve come up with a great product at a reasonable price.

Features include High strength Thermal formed reinforced Nylon, Light weight (under 10lbs), UV stable, 4 mounting points, easy cleaning pattern, 4 carrying points, measurements 42”x 12.5”x2.5”

I’ve included some pictures with dimensions. I can make a fold with more shots this evening.

I’m offering these to forum members at $159.00 plus shipping average for shipping will be $30.00 you can figure your shipping via FedEx from zip code 80537 in order for me to do this the magic number is 10 or more orders.

Who’s in?? You can PM me.

Thanks for checking this out.
Cheers

Awesome job MSD!!! Those look great, glad I have held out buying traction boards, these seem like a great deal and very reasonable price. How is the tire traction with the bolt type nubs like that? Looks like it even has a little scoop type shovel like the big name brands.

To paraphrase Henry Ford, "You can have any color you want, as long as it's black."

Traction with nubs is great. I wanted to make these replaceable & have accessory colors but got shot down on several fronts.

I forgot to mention that in snow, sand & loose dirt you can indeed flip them over & use as a shovel. [emoji106]

Looks good, and the price is right!

Mark me down for a pair. I am local to CO so I can come pick them up from your shop, if that's an option.

These look great. Two questions:
1. Do they stack?
2. How do they mount?

Thanks!
