Swivel Seat Base (FORD E-Series) Group Buy #3

Okay, starting the THIRD round of seat bases available for Group Buy #3.

As mentioned before, and attested to by many, this is one of the single best additions/modifications that can be done to our Ford E series vans.

The amount of comfort, utility, and transformation of the interior space and its feeling is amazing. Installation is about an hour and is done with standard tools. These seat bases are designed as direct bolt in for the stock Ford Seats and are the same units as used by SMB. (reference the prior thread for the first group buy for lots of pictures and install postings , great pics to thanks to REDOVAL, shenrie, and others)

Prior thread link: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=16999

DETAILS:
For this order, the delivery date to me is 3 to 4 weeks after I place the order. I will place it for exactly the number of bases ordered and paid for. I need at least 8 bases to be ordered. So far there are three people with 96 and newer vans who want bases. I expect to place the order around February 22nd. Deliveries to you should be around March 25th, just in time for spring project install!

There are two people with 1995 and older vans but there is a question as to seat base bolt patterns top and bottom, as well as angle. Perhaps someone can post the dimensions / differences pre and post 1995 model year. Perhaps it is a feasible modification, I do not know at this point. The fabricator has said there is a difference and they are not doing 95 and older bases anymore.

Pricing is $185 for Passenger and $195 for Driver (plus shipping costs via FedEx Ground from zip 94127 (San Francisco). PM your zip code to me and I will calculate the shipping. As a heads up, it is less expensive to ship to a business address and this can include a FedEx Office location nearby to you that accepts Ground Delivery/Hold for pick up. Saves around $4 to $5 over residential delivery.

Payment is via PayPal, I will send details with the shipping quote.

Let me know here or PM me if you want in on these nine. I likely will not do another one of these seat base group buys until mid-Spring 2016.

Thanks,
Ray

Of course, having a van would help in my decision to get some of these.

Okay!! Here are the dimensions for the 96+ Seat Bases.

Passenger side is completely flat lower plate. The driver side has a raised up section inboard of the floor mounting holes. This is to accommodate a control box that shows up later in 2007ish time frame

The Seat Track is also listed. The elevations are to the surfaces that the slides mount to.

Okay, I will put a list together of who wants what, so far.

Of interesting note is the 1995 and before van people might be able to mod the 1996+ seat bases by drilling new holes to match. I am not 100% on that but TomsBeast is working on figuring out if this will work on his rig.

Stay tuned!!
