Swivel seat bases econoline - buy # 6

THE SIXTH round of swivel seat bases is on for Group Buy #6.

EXPECTED SHIP DATE IS APRIL 26,
YOUR ORDER MUST BE IN AND PAID FOR BY MORINING OF APRIL 3.

(Today, I am answering all the PM's and inquiries already received )

As mentioned before, and attested to by many, this is one of the single best additions/modifications that can be done to our Ford E series vans.

The amount of comfort, utility, and transformation of the interior space and its feeling is amazing. Installation is about an hour and is done with standard tools. These seat bases are designed as direct bolt in for the stock 96 and newer Ford Seats and are the same units as used by SMB. (reference the prior threads for the prior group buys for lots of pictures and install postings, great pics to thanks to REDOVAL, shenrie, and others)

DETAILS: For this order, the ship date is expected to be APRIL 26
Bases will NOT work with power seats.

Pricing is $185 for Passenger / $195 for Driver (plus shipping costs via FedEx Ground from zip 94127 (San Francisco). PM your zip code/ real name/ and email address to me and I will calculate the shipping. As a heads up, it is less expensive to ship to a business address, this includes a FedEx Office location nearby to you that accepts Ground Delivery/Hold for pick up. Saves around $3 to $5 over residential delivery.

Payment is via PayPal to searay230@gmail.com - Friends and Family, I will send more details with the shipping quote.

Let me know here or PM me if you want in. I likely will not do another one of these seat base group buys until July/August

Thanks,
Ray

G'day.

I am wondering if you can help me.

My build at SMB West had US passenger side seat swivel(right hand side)and worked well.

But now that Steering is on Right Hand side, seat swivel/turn around, does not work.
Seat does not turn around because slide does not go far enough back and seat appears to close to side pillar. There is less footwell space on US passenger side( now Australian Right Hand Drive side.).

What is the differnce between US swivel seat left & right.

The problem I see with mine now Right Hand Drive, need seat to slide further back to clear steering wheel and arm rest may also cause problem. But it worked fine before, without steering wheel.

Can you make a modified extended seat slide for right hand side?

Do you have any options/ suggestion?

Hoping you can help me.

Cheers Doug

Looks interesting. I'll miss this round, hopefully it will come up again. What is it that makes these not work with power seats?

The power seat unit occupies the space the swivel base goes. The swivel base replaces the seat pedestal the stock manual seat mounts to.
